Abstract
Refugees are some of the most vulnerable people all over the world. They are protected not only by national legislation but also by international law. The main legal instrument is the Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, known as Geneva Convention (1951). They have travelled to the West, Europe and United States, in order to search for a better life. America has been the destination for a great number of refugees. Before elected, Donald Trump had claimed he would change the immigration policy. When elected the President of the United States, he signed an order which suspended the refugee admission. This order has been a controversial issue, as many supported it, while others criticized it as unconstitutional.
